Seminar by Gevorg Mirzayan "The Ukrainian crisis and Russia's position"

January 29, 2015 the main building Sholokhov University hosted the Scientific Seminar "Ukrainian Crisis and Russian Attitude."
The reports were made by a participant of International Program Research Projects Grants Competition of the Russian Institute for Advanced Study Gevorg V. Mirzayan (PhD. in Political Science, member of the Russian Association of Political Science, researcher at the Institute of USA and Canada RAS), as well as Dmitry V. Suslov (Deputy Director Center for Integrated and International Studies High School of Economics).
The Workshop covered the causes and course of Ukrainian "dignity revolution ", its consequences for Ukraine as a state and national project. Also, there was brought up an issue about the interests of Moscow in Ukraine and methods of their implementation, and the impact of the Ukrainian crisis on Russian politics in post-Soviet countries (Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Georgia), and the transformation of Russia's relations with the countries of the shared West.
The Seminar was attended by Russian politicians and political scientists engaged in studies of Ukraine, post-Soviet space as a whole, as well as Russian-European and Russian-American relations. The seminar was attended by students and graduate students as well.
