The seminar "Turkic corpus linguistics and computer lexicography"

The academic talk and seminar, delivered by PhD in Philology, Associate Professor in Crimean-Tatar Linguistics SELENDILI LEMARA, is to be held as part of the international scientific program of Russian Institute for Advanced Study in Humanities and Technology (RIAS).

Turkic corpus linguistics and computer lexicography

The issues to be discussed:
• Electronic dictionaries and computer lexicography;
• Turkic corpus linguistics;
• Crimean-Tatar lexicography: challenges and prospects;
• Ways of solving the urgent challenges of the Crimean-Tatar linguistics using corpus linguistics and computer lexicography.

Well-known experts in the field of Turkic corpus linguistics, computer lexicography and mathematical linguistics are invited to participate in the seminar:

Dybo Anna V. - Doctor of Philology, Professor, Corresponding Member of RAS, Chief Scientific Officer, Head of the Department of the Ural-Altaic languages of the Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences;

Zakiev Mirfatyh Z. - Doctor of Philology, Professor, member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Head of the Department of lexicology and dialectology Ibragimov IYLI  Tatarstan Academy of Sciences;

Shirokov Vladimir A. - Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Director of Lingua-Information Fund, NAS of Ukraine, Kiev;
